A drink driver is believed to have caused a three-car crash near Hobart this morning.

The crash happened about 7.40am on the south bound lanes on the Brooker Highway just north of the Risdon Road lights and blocked traffic for about 40 minutes.

Police have charged a 46 year old woman with drink driving.

At the same time, a separate two-vehicle crash occurred about 200 metres north of the first one.

No one was injured in both crashes but Police are reminding motorists to slow down and pay attention while roads are wet and slippery in the winter months.
