Greater Launceston residents are invited to share their ideas for the future of the region through a new online survey.
The Northern Tasmanian Development Corporation is looking for feedback from within the Launceston, George Town, Meander Valley, Northern Midlands and West Tamar municipalities – asking questions about their values and priorities across the areas of housing, employment, environment, transport and social connectedness.
NTDC CEO Karina Dambergs believes broad input on the region’s future is vital to ensuring local councils’ plans were in lockstep with the aspirations of the communities they serve.
“We are asking our communities to invest some time today to help make a difference for all of our futures,” she said.
The confidential survey is open to community members aged 18 and over. It should take around 10 minutes to complete, and is open until January 31st. You can complete it here.
