A Gold Coast woman involved in the Tasmania’s biggest-ever ice seizure will be sentenced in the Supreme Court in Hobart today.
Jacqueline Pauline Fiala pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking, after police found 26 kilos of ice – worth up to a million dollars a kilo – in car tyres following a Spirit of Tasmania crossing.
The State of Tasmania also intends to seize the 50-year-old’s Broadbeach Waters home as part of today’s penalty.
