Fairsy moved to Tassie from Adelaide in South Australia back in 1989 and has forged a Television and Radio career spanning more than three decades.
He’s a big man with a big heart and loves a good joke and is a 100 percent sports nut.
Fairsy also loves his food and is an undisputed 80’s tragic particularly when it comes to 80’s rock, his favourite bands include ACDC, Heart, Motley Crue and Def Leppard.
He’s very passionate about Tasmania and its people and set up his own Foundation in 2020 to assist Tasmania’s Disadvantaged Youth. Fairsy is also a staunch supporter of the Tasmanian Devil and wombats.
