We are proud to be supporting Relay For Life Launceston 2026, a major community fundraising event raising vital funds to help fight cancer right here in Tasmania.

Relay For Life is a unique relay-style walk that brings together families, friends, schools, workplaces and community groups to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against cancer. Funds raised support Cancer Council Tasmania’s research, prevention programs and free support services for people affected by cancer.

Event Date and Location

  • Date: Saturday 14 March 2026
  • Opening Ceremony: 10:00am
  • Location: Tasmanian Turf Club, Jellico Street, Mowbray (Launceston)

What to Expect on the Day

Participants and supporters can look forward to:

  • Opening Ceremony celebrating cancer survivors and carers
  • Teams and individuals walking the track throughout the day
  • Candlelight Ceremony at 8:00pm to remember loved ones lost
  • Entertainment, activities and community challenges
  • Closing Ceremony at 10:00pm, marking the end of the event and the collective fight back against cancer
