Launceston Run for Palestine

The Tasmanian Palestine Advocacy Network invites members of the media to Run for Palestine in Launceston on Saturday, 15th November. |

Those participating in the family-friendly 8.6-kilometre run (or 4.3-kilometre walk) are raising funds for the Australian charity Olive Kids, which is working to improve the lives of children in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. The event will also feature music and food for runners and supporters. |

WHERE: Starting and ending at the UTAS Inveresk campus paved area between the library and workshop building. WHEN: From 10.30am to 2pm. WHAT: A fun run to raise awareness about and funds for the situation in Palestine. Media are invited to attend at 10am to interview participants and take photos and/or videos of the beginning of the run. |
