Woolmers Estate Annual Festival of Roses
Woolmers Annual Festival of Roses is at Woolmers Estate Longord on 23rd November. The event runs from 10am to 4pm. There is a $10 entry fee and children 12 and under are free.
The Program for the day includes a host of free entertainment, including The Rollen Mix, who will play from 10:30-11:30 am, 12:30-1:30 pm and 2:30-4pm. In addition we also have Sara-Rose Millar who will play 4 different sets in our Rose Garden Gazebo throughout the day. From 11:30-12:30 you can watch the Boot Scootin Bunnies do a Line Dancing Demonstration and join in. There will also be a Whipcracking Show at 1:30 by National Champion, Emiliqua East and Clinics for children commencing at 2:30. Jorge Cuba of FJF Cubas Panflutes will be playing throughout the day. We will also have Penny Farthings Demonstrations, Free Facepainting for the children between 11 am to 1pm, though Face Painting all day will be available. In addition we have the Vintage Car Club and the MG Car Club on display. Evandale Minature Railway will also have a small exhibit. There will be open house at our historic homestead throughout the day. Wine and Gin distillers and plenty of Devonshire Tea opportunities too. Along with this there are a number of food and coffee vans a multitude of different exhibitors both inside and outside at the venue. Free carparking is available on site.
