A child is in the Launceston General Hospital with serious injuries after a two vehicle crash at Riverside last night.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident that occurred around 9pm last night in Eloura Street involving a green Mitsubishi Triton and red Nissan Patrol.
Police say both vehicles were travelling in the same direction at the time of the incident.
Two other occupants of the Triton were also injured.
It comes as police continue to appeal for information locating a person who allegedly rode a motorcycle on the East Tamar Highway exceeding the 80kmh speed limit by more than 120kmh.
Police say the person riding the dark coloured sports motorcycle was clocked doing 206kmh.
The motorcycle was also note displaying a number plate.
