An L-plate driver is in trouble after being caught over the alcohol limit in the state’s north.
Police responded to reports of a car driving erratically on the Midland Highway near Ross on Tuesday afternoon, July 25.
They intercepted the Port Huon man at Campbell Town and he returned a reading of 0.132 in a breath test. The limit for learners is zero alcohol.
