Sergeant Ben Kromkamp said it was disappointing when drivers put the lives of pedestrians and other road users at risk by disregarding speed limits, particularly in built up areas.

“Tasmania Police would like to remind motorists that our patrols are conducted all over the state, including highways, rural roads and country areas,” he said.

“You can continue expect to see us anywhere, anytime – targeting the ‘Fatal Five’ to help keep people safe on our roads.”
